DESCRIPTION:Join us for this Hawai’i Coffee Tasting to experience what Hawai’i-grown coffee has to offer! In this 90-minute experience, we’ll go beyond Kona and taste four different coffees from Kona, Ka’u, and Maui. This informal tasting is designed to introduce folks to the basics of building sensory skills in coffee simply by intentionally thinking about what we’re experiencing and tasting in each cup! We will discuss the history of coffee in Hawai’i, how the industry has changed and grown over the years, and where we stand today. Students will have access to some sensory learning tools while learning from seasoned coffee sensory professionals.\n
