Located in a magical and misty community behind Pahala, Wood Valley Coffee Farm is a gem tucked away between steep valley walls with lush green growth. Wood Valley is truly like no other place on Hawaiʻi Island.
The producers, Rus & Alla, took over managing this farm in 2018 and – in that short time – have transformed it into an award-winning farm. Their coffee placed in the top 20 during the 2019 Hawaiʻi Coffee Association Cupping Competition and they have experimented with dozens of processing methods in the last 2 years. This specific lot is a beautiful representation of their washed coffee, dried on raised beds. We have had the opportunity to work with Rus & Alla and provide quality analysis on several of their coffees over the years, visiting their farm and collaborating on various projects for the greater Hawaiʻi coffee industry.
