For those of us who love drinking Hawai’i coffee, but don’t want the big caffeine kick, we have our 100% Kona Decaf. This coffee is from Greenwell Farms in Kealakekua on Hawai’i Island. It was decaffeinated using the Swiss Water decaf process. This is a patented decaffeination method that uses only water to remove 99.9% of the coffee’s caffeine content.
While this coffee is not a dark roast, it does look oilier than our other medium-roasted coffees. This is due to the structural changes incurred through the decaffeination process.
Our Kona Decaf is delicious as a filter coffee or espresso beverage.
