Join us on Friday, January 5th for a new version of our Hawaiʻi Coffee Tasting where we’ll taste multiple coffees from the same growing region processed several different ways. This informal tasting is designed to help attendees experience how different processing techniques affect the final cup when other factors (variety, origin, etc) remain the same! We’ll learn about various processing methods while discussing the history of coffee growing in Hawaiʻi and connect it all to our senses. Students will leave with an understanding of the sensory impact of processing techniques and a newly gained understanding of the Hawaiʻi coffee industry.
